Re-appointment to National Portrait Gallery Board

The Australian Government has re-appointed Mr Alan Dodge AM to the Board of the National Portrait Gallery for a term of three years.
Mr Dodge has served as a member of the Board since the establishment of the National Portrait Gallery as a statutory authority in July 2013.
Mr Dodge has extensive experience working in the visual arts sector, including senior gallery management roles and in 2009 was made a Member of the Order of Australia for his service to arts organisations and to the community.
From 1997 to 2007, he was the Director of the Art Gallery of Western Australia. Prior to this, Mr Dodge held senior roles at the National Gallery of Australia for more than 18 years.
