Appointment of NBN Co Limited non-executive Director

The Turnbull Government has appointed Ms Zoe McKenzie as a non‑executive director of the Board of NBN Co Limited for a three-year term.

Ms McKenzie brings to the nbn Board a diverse set of skills with more than 20 years’ experience in legal practice, public policy and foreign investment and trade.

Ms McKenzie is currently the CEO of Trade and Investment Advisory and has extensive experience in a range of senior state and federal government roles.

She is the former President of the Australian Services Roundtable and currently serves on the Boards of the Australia Council for the Arts and the French Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Ms McKenzie will bring an additional perspective to the nbn Board as the company transitions from its project rollout phase to a sustainable operating GBE, in preparation for a future privatisation.

The Shareholder Ministers congratulate Ms McKenzie on her appointment and look forward to her contribution as the rollout nears completion.
